Thinking about building a 10 footer.Has anybody built on these blanks before?Only concern would be if it is a thinner wall graphite.Rod may see some abuse. Not intentionally,of course.Any knowledge would help.Thanks. Matt Gates

I fish mainly on the north shore of Long Island, and the rod I use mostly is a GSB1081L. I dont think you sacrifice anything in means of being able to sling a 7/8 bomber or 11/2 Kastmaster. If you fish with Powerpro and find you can't set a hook with this blank, then your doing something wrong. Plenty of backbone! Good Luck,

I was pretty bummed-out to find that the hardener in the LS Supreme had yellowed pretty bad after having not used any for a few months.Even after mixing up a batch it still remained yellow.I was under the impression that this stuff stayed clear. That is why I switched to it after using Flex-coat for years.Does this happen to Glass Coat also?Any insight would be great. Thanks in advance.

hi, Don't mean to beat a dead horse, but, even after doing a search, I can't find the exact 'how-to' marbelize rod finish. Also, what are the specific paints or pigments used?I also e-mailed Jason whose great photos are on this site, but no reply as of yet. Any help or info would be greatly appreciatted. I'm dying to try this myself. Much thanks in advance. Matt Gates
