Gudebrod Pearl white metallic thread

Does anyone know how this colour mettalic thread reacts after epoxy is applied RE:
Does it turn clear or let other darker colours such as black or royal blue show through
if used without colour preserver?
I NEVER use CP but, I've NEVER used white metallics before. I know the metallic blues and silvers are fine without.
Thank you in advance! ;^)

I've been going to use this and see the effect; I've heard that it just lets the threads under come through to a degree, leaving the pearlescent look on top of them. I'll have more time now that Charlotte is under my belt to play with these things more; fade test is the first project I'll tackle with Gudebrod and Sulky purple metallic threads!

Without CP the pearl white metallic definitely takes on a bit of the color around it.I've done a few wraps and combined it with various shades of blue and the metallic turns from a bright pearl white to a really light pearl blue. The color just bleeds through a bit. It's a really nice look.

If you use CP it will stay alot truer to it's original color.

Thanks guys....I saw a wrap that used this thread and I thought it looked a little translucent.
Can't always tell from a pic!
Will do a test as well.
Since I've NEVER used a colour preserver-any tips on which one will work best when using
metalic thread?

If you can underwrap with white sizeA and pack it tight add CP to it,the metallic will look beautiful.
