For those that can't bare to sink a few more bucks into another electric motor. Motor RPM 6, Glass RPM 15. It's a bit slow and rudementary; but there's room for improvement.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find it. I'm building my second rod, first with FC Lite though. I just applied it (apparently in too thick of a fashion) and it looks great, with just one coat. Is there anything wrong with applying only one coat of lite? Thanks, Justin

Morning Folks, I've been struggling with the Forhan Locking Wrap and was looking for some input. I think I'm missing one small, but apparently critical step. After performing the locking wraps and returning to the blank for the final blocking wraps the thread looks bad. Bad meaning, the thread comes right off the guide leg and back to the blank; this creates a large gap that looks poor. I

Josh, Thanks for the feedback. I checked the other rings and of course there's one other ring with a crack in it. I glued the grip with titebond III, I think I'll just smear a bit in the two cracks, clamp it, and call it good. Thanks again! Justin
