Thanks, Adam. ProWrap is what I'm using. Maybe I just got a bum spool but the least bit of tension or even pulling tag end through under wrap and metallic strips off nylon

I'm having trouble with metallic thread coming apart if I run it through tensioner on thread carriage. Only way it holds together is insufficient tension to keep wrap snug. Anyone else have this challenge? A bad batch? Any particular brand better?

I have to replace a ferrule on an old split bamboo fly rod as the existing male section is cracked. What is the best way to remove the damaged ferrule sections? Is it safe and/or effective to apply low heat? Thanks

I'm a beginner reconditioning an older rod. Is there a way to 'revive' or 'refresh' the EVA grips? They are currently an uneven grayish black.
