I use a miter saw to cut EVA. With a fine tooth blade it cuts like butter with very smooth edges. Just watch you fingers!!

I have a 6' 2/3 , 2 piece blank. Is there a difference between a fly rod blank and a spinning rod blank? I was wondering if I could build a light weight spinning rod from this blank. Thanks for any help. Rick-----

I used it 20 years ago. When I started building again, I couldn't find it locally. I disassembled 3 old rods and the PC-7 was in great shape. I also discovered the new epoxies are much better to work with. If I had some of it I would use it. It is a lot heavier though! I like the new epoxies better.
