Tom and all others concerned, Some new information on the IMX Blank that I returned has surfaced. For starters to shed some light on the whole Made In America thing that sparked so many sleepless nights. I guess in a way we were all right in what we beleived "Made in America" stands for. Let me tell you how it was explained to me from G Loomis of Canada. The blank is made in the U.S.A "America if you will, it is then shipped to Canada "America if you like" and then sold back to the U.S.A. Now if the blank is not built it continues to be labeled made in America. If the rod is built then it will have a sticker that says Made in Canada. Confused yet. Well let me confuse you more. Try to explain to the Post master of your town that a blank of such an enormous length can cost 300 bucks. Even if this blank goes from a two piece to a four piece blank and I am not talking about a joke. This rod was completely crushed and snapped into 4 pieces. It was shipped back to G Loomis Canada in the same tube I received it in which I might add was very durable. So for about 30 to 45 minutes I had to argue my case as to why the post office is responsible for delivering mail the way it was shipped.
