The RPLX blank is brown and Graphite III.
The RPLXi blank is dark blue and Graphite III , this rod is softer than the earlier RPLX. Graphite IIIe was first introduced with the XP rods. The softer RPLXi was introduced due to new FF in salt water being talked into softer rods and the FF shops recommending overlining the RPLX. Most saltwater FF prefer the early design with additional stiffness. Regards, Fred Krow What is FF ? Re: sage blanks
