Dennis, E-mail jean@Harringtonrods.com or call her at 1-660-645-2495. I recently asked her about that blank and they are available but I believe the blanks are sold under the Harrington name. She will also send you a catalog if you e-mail her. Re: harnell

Dennis- the name has changed a few times over the years attempting to find an original may present a problem, it seems sometime after a name change some builders felt the blank was different from the orginal and thus a rumor began that the originals were better whether true or not more recent blanks have the Harnell name on them also.Talk to Jean at Harringtonrods. she can give you the best info John Re: harnell

Date: February 11, 2003 08:48PM Hi all, This site really has some great info. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about a Harnell 904 it also says ultimate on it. Where the cork would normally be is white hard rubber. In addition, it is a two-piece rod. An uncle gave it to my dad, an avid saltwater fisherman, yet I think he hasn’t gone fishing in years since he caught the casino "bug". We wanted to know how much it is worth. Any information would be a huge help. Also I read the older threads from this site and this rod does not have an original but cap either, but everything else seems to be original. I looked at the Harnell fish logo it says Venice on the underside of the fish. Then it says Harnell " 'ULTIMATE' " "MULTIPLE STEP TAPER TUBULAR FISHING ROD". I also know this is a 15 to 30 lb test line rod. Oh, last detail it is black (of course), with gold and red threading. If anyone is serious about purchasing let me know, or it will go up on @#$%&, email me if you would like to see a picture. We are located in downstate NY, and this one I would think could be shipped packed tightly and careful in a priority mail mailing tube. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
