Butch, You can get info from many different places a few are Anglers Book Supply, www.anglersbooksupply.com, Most of the Tackle suppliers at the left carry many books and Videos. I would recommend Tom Kirkland's Book allot. It is the best book not only for beginners but for the most experienced to refresh your memory. Do a search on these pages to find the different books that all of us talk about. George Thurston Re: Rod repair books mags. or manuals

RodMaker Magazine has had what I honestly feel are the best repair articles written anywhere. They are scattered through the various back issues and most are still available. Topics we've covered include fixing broken rods with internal and external sleeves, removing seats, guides and tip tops, what causes rods to break and how to tell each cause, how to make and repair ferrules and a few others that escape me at the moment. Take a look at the back issue page on the site at www.rodmakermagazine.com ................. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
