If you have access to a catalog from "Anglers Workshop", i believe it has the info you are needing.

Here's a quick primer, but there are literally dozens of different guides that Fuji makes.

Starting from the last letter, G = Guide, T=Tip.

Next to the last letter is the ring material, S = SiC, G = Cermet, R = Ruby, A = Alconite, H = Aluminum Oxide, L = Hardloy. Guides like an SG are just single foot.

3rd letter is shape of guide frame, N = Roundish Low frame, V = V shaped high frame, Y = Y shaped really high frame

The 4th letter is where things get tricky. If it's a V or Y frame, the 4th letter will denote either a single foot (L) or double foot (S). If it's an N frame, the 4th letter could denote a light (L), medium (M) or heavy (H) frame.

The 5th letter and beyond will refer to finishes or materials. No 5th letter means the standard gunsmoked steel. A T or Ti = titanium alloy framed, IC = Ion Coating, G = Gold plated finish, C = Chrome plated, B = Black finish, which is the standard over brass framed guides.

Here's a couple examples:

TLNSG

Starting from the last letter to the first.

G = Guide
S = SiC Ring
N = Low Profile frame
L = Light, denotes a Concept sytle guide
T = Titanium alloy frame

ICMNST

T = Tip
S = SiC Ring
N = Tip Style, low profile
M = Medium framed, Concept style
IC = Ion Coated, specialized finish for corrosion resistence

BLRGG

G = Guide
G = Cermet Ring
R = Boat guide (as in Heavy Brass Frame)
L = The lighter style of boat guide, 2 legged rather than 3 legged
B = Black finished frame

Go to Mudhole and check out the little pics next to the guides. With a little study, you'll get it.
