Painting blanks

I was just wondering how some builders are able to paint there blanks. I have seen swirls and even wood colored blanks (rods by dru did that one) and want to try it myself. Anyone have a place that I can find instruction possibly a video? Thanks for any help. Re: Painting blanks

There is plenty of info on this site in the archives. Swirl paint jobs I think are done by dipping and having unmixed or unstirred paint float on the top of the mix solution and then it swirls as you withdraw the blank and creates that effect. I'm not sure but think that is how it is done. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
