Weave question

If I have a weave pattern that is fairly small say about 35 threads. And I want to make it twice as large for a much larger rod. Couldn't I just double everything? In other words make the 35 threads 70 threads and then count each two threads as one? That would keep the DO list in order but I think it might make the weave a bit ragged on the edges like older computer type. Or maybe there would be a ratio I could apply to the DO list that would give me the right threads in this magnified weave. Any ideas? Thanks. Re: Weave question

Fish Stix's idea is all right, but for me to keep the heigth low on my patern I just add the extra thread . What I have found is for every added thread some times I have had to add a extra turn. With weaves I have discovered it is a hit or miss with how many turns. I like weaving with silk less bulk. Tight lines Bob Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
