flex coat problems

HELP!!! with my finish just put the finish on a rod and it looks like it has fish eyes in som e places . I am thinking that the finish some how got contaminated may be buy my brushes or some thing else . And on cp do most of you put one coat or two coats i think i might have put it on to thick ? thank you Marcel

Contamination is probably the culprit, but it is hard to know without more information. How did you mix and apply the finish? Was everything clean? Was the mixture exactly 50-50? I like Flexcoat very much. For my first coat I put on a very thick coat and then wick off as much as I can with the brush, leaving the threads only damp. I usually put on at least two additional thin coats.
