I have a Shakespeare rod to repair. Does anyone know the make of guides and where I can get them. They are what I call 3 foot with a black frame and no insert just a silver color.
Thanks

No inserts? Are you sure the inserts haven't come out? I've never seen any like that except some that Daiwa used to use called 'DynaFlow' guides. How old is the rod?

Charlie,

Shakespeare built millions of rods over several generations. In order to have any clue which guides you are looking for it would be helpful to know the type of rod (spinning, casting, fly?), a model number, or perhaps a 'name; (WonderRod, UglyStick, etc...)?.

Good Luck!

Buddy

The frames are high frame black ring with a insert of what looks like stainless steel
