Try needle for applying finish

I just tried using a blunt sewing or crochet needle to spread expoxy on my wraps and wow, what a difference from brushes! Precise, smooth as glass, perfect edges. Will never go back. Thanks for the tip(s) in the past. Re: Try needle for applying finish

Jeff, how did you apply the finish to the rod with a needle? I don't quite understand how to do this. I'm kind of new at this rod building thing. John Woods Re: Try needle for applying finish

John, Simply dip the needle into the "puddle" of epoxy and spread it on the wraps. The epoxy is thick enough to hold the needle. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
