I learned by practicing weaving the alphabet. There are plenty of sources for alphabet weave left lists. Just a suggestion. Re: Silhouette patterns for weaving

You can try to make your own patterns by getting some graph paper and laying out a design on the paper and marking off the left threads with x's. once you've done this, tape the results to a wall, and back off a few feet. This will give you some idea as to how it will look in a smaller dimension. Make adjustments with liquid paper, then proceed to weave. You only need to know how many threads wide your pattern is to be before you start designing the pattern. I've done several weaves that I've designed myself. It's tedious work, but worth the effort. My 2 cents. Bob Vasko Re: Silhouette patterns for weaving

I forgot to mention that access to a copy machine that can enlarge or shrink an image is very helpful Bob Vasko Re: Silhouette patterns for weaving

Doc Ski at docskirods@aol.com, has a long list of patterns of just about everything you might want to weave for sale. They are by far the best quality patterns available for sale, much more detailed than Clemmens patterns which are quite basic. email Doc for his list Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
