Rod Geeks or NFC

Hi guys. General blank question. I prefer softer tipped rods. So from what is offered at a retail level I’ll take a St. Croix Legend Xtreme over a G Loomis NRX. With that in mind, would it make sense I stick with rod geeks for my next build and go with the carbon 5? Or should I go with NFC?
The main duty is bottom bouncing for walleye (up to 3oz but mostly 2oz, just dropped over the side of the boat). I know the rod isn’t (from both manufacturers) rated to 3oz but im not casting it. So a M/H-fast is what I’m looking at) Let me know your thoughts… Re: Rod Geeks or NFC

I just finished a NFC CB Delta 7115 for this exact purpose. Have not used it for this task yet but first impression is good. Soft top 1/4 of the rod transitions nicely into a stout mid section and powerful bottom section. Caught several lake trout on it last weekend and it whipped them quickly Re: Rod Geeks or NFC

I think the NFC Delta blanks are a great value. Surprisingly sensitive in my opinion and I think they make awesome bouncer rods. Just a matter of picking the power you like.
I am not adverse to paying what it takes, but I think the NFC Deltas are better tool for BBs than a Carbon 5. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
