Guide spacing on an 8', 7-piece fly rod

I've been bit by the rod building bug, and am about to embark on building a 7-piece graphite travel rod, a 8' 3/4wt, moderate/fast blank.

I've found a few different guide spacing tables that include 8' rods; does the fact that the blank is 7 pieces impact the spacing at all, beyond just trying to stick as close as possible to the spacing suggested by the tables? I.e., if a guide ends up too close to a ferrule, shift it slightly up or down the blank as needed?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Yes you can use the spacing, adjusting slightly to accommodate the little additional length and ferrules.

Cool, thanks for confirming. It seemed straightforward enough, but I'm still new enough at this that I didn't want to just assume
