Could someone from NFC post posy the blank weight of the new Stinger NEO blank (MB765 X-ray NEO)? Are other lengths planned? Thanks! Re: Can Someone From NFC post the blank weight for the new Stinger NEO blank?

I would assume its the same as the regular xray mb765 neo - 3.19oz From what I could tell the only difference was the color of the zentron Re: Can Someone From NFC post the blank weight for the new Stinger NEO blank?

It’s got fiberglass, that’s usually heavier. Thanks for the reference regarding the regular MB765. This might be a little more weight than what I was hoping for. Re: Can Someone From NFC post the blank weight for the new Stinger NEO blank?

If weight is your only concern, you are going to miss a lot in rod building. Re: Can Someone From NFC post the blank weight for the new Stinger NEO blank?

Tournament fisherman. We make a LOT of casts in a day, and several days in a row. Weight makes a lot of difference for some of us. Re: Can Someone From NFC post the blank weight for the new Stinger NEO blank?

It's on par with other composite rods. Total finished rod will weigh under 5oz. Similar to a Shimano expride 72mh-g. Re: Can Someone From NFC post the blank weight for the new Stinger NEO blank?

John, You bass anglers aren't the only cowboys in the rodeo, but you seem to think other forms of angling somehow have it easier, multi-day angling is the norm for anyone who travels to fish, in Alaska the sun never sets on some of us. Just saying. There is a specific purpose for rod builders to build specific ways. I’m considering this rod for deep cranking use. There is a specific reason why the people I build for and myself would absolutely want it as light as possible. Not sure of why you’re criticizing how some rodbuilders are choosing their priorities. I never said anyone had it any easier, just pointed out why WE were looking for a specific thing… only prompted after a condescending remark about being weight conscious. If I read your tone wrong, I apologize, but that’s how it came across. All I was asking for is a weight for a blank. Re: Can Someone From NFC post the blank weight for the new Stinger NEO blank?

What blanks do you typically use for deep cranks? I have the xray mb765 neo cut down to 7'3" waiting to be built and it weighs 2.89oz just as an fyi. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
