What is everyone’s choice for inletting cork handles for seats. I can’t find a crafty’s cutter anywhere.
I was thinking Forstner bits with tubing in the grip to keep it good and straight. Thanks in advance! Jon Hood Re: Cork inletting

I use a Forstner bit. Put one ring in your lathe, drill the hole and then add to the grip. Simple. No need for fancy tools, that is if you have a lathe... Re: Cork inletting

I do and that was a thought I had - what jaws do you use to hold the cork? Jon Hood Re: Cork inletting

I have a 3 jaw chuck that I put on the tailstock. Use the headstock for the bit Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
