Weight, how it holds up and slides out in a rod holder compared to raw cork would be important information. I know my Tru-Oiled burl grips under those conditions do fine but are considerably heavier. Re: Salmon/Steelhead Grips

Spencer,
Great comments. Let me provide some details to those questions. The weight of Micro agglomerated cork is just under 9% heavier than natural cork. B grade cork with lots of filler is almost exactly the same weight as micro agglomerated grip. Super grade will be a little lighter than agglomerated. Durability is one of the great features of micro agglomerated cork. It is MUCH more durable than any grade of natural cork rings, and there is never any fill of occlusions that fall out and leave a pitted grip on your rod. It has the same tack as natural cork rings and will move in and out of the rod holders exactly the same. St Croix has a video out that discusses their durability testing of agglomerated cork. Their conclusion was that this material was the most durable agglo they ever tested. Scott Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
