Fly Rod blanks in Canada

Hello Everyone,
Long time lurker, first time poster. I have recently gotten into fly rod building after fly fishing for nearly 20 years, and have built a few now from cheap kits I picked up on Aliexpress. I know they are modest to OK, but I didn't want to invest a bunch of money to find out I can't do it or it's not for me. I am having a hard time finding a good source of blanks up in Canada. I am basically only finding rodbuildersupplies and valleycustomrods as places to order blanks from. I have tried to search other threads, but from what it seems, we are limited on suppliers up in Canada. My other option is to order from the US since I am in proximity to the border and can have them shipped close enough for me to run down and pick them up, then do the import myself. So far I have ordered my threads and glues from Mudhole ( excellent selection btw! ), and have browsed the websites for NFC, Rodgeeks, Proof, Batson, etc. Currently my go to setups are a couple of 5wt Loop Tackle rods, a 5wt Switch rod, and most recently a heavier 8wt rod for throwing larger streamers in the river. I also have an Orvis that does wonders on some of the local waters. The actions vary from MF to F. In the end, does anyone know of a hidden Gem in Canada to order from, or suggestions on where to go from here? I guess I am getting lost in all the blanks, and I am very well aware it is a personal choice and feel, but if anyone has any good suggestions or input, I'm all ears. Re: Fly Rod blanks in Canada

Hi Herb,
That is good to know. I have looked into the CTS blanks as well. Do you mind either mentioning shipping costs to Canada here or via a message please? It still might be more economical for me to have it shipped in the lower 48. Thanks for the info! Re: Fly Rod blanks in Canada
