This might be a random question for anyone familiar with the event and venue....Is there the possibility to park a boat trailer within some sort of reasonable distance from the venue? It's possible I could make a pitstop at the Expo on the way back from a fishing trip, but I'll have my boat with me so that would complicate things.

Might be difficult downtown, which is where the convention center is located. However, I suspect if you went by Salem Lake, about 10 to 15 minutes to the east of the downtown area, explained the situation to the park staff, they would almost surely let you park the boat there while you run over to the Expo for a bit. They won't be busy that time of year, they're familiar with the Expo and with a good trailer lock I doubt you'd have any problem. The warden's window looks out over their parking lot.

That's really the only idea I have regarding boat parking at the moment.
