Looks like everything is there for continued success, short of more epoxy finish and adhesive as necessary, personally the alcohol burner is not needed, and will take a while to get used to as it seems initially when using that you need it closer to the work than is necessary, causing more harm than good. use your other hand to gauge heat and distance before using. You'll learn and enjoy building rods, leave the upgrading for when you become addicted badly, until then the portability and lack of space needed between and during builds is a bonus.

Gotta agree 100% with Spencer on the alcohol burner. I know others talk about using heat, but for me personally, using heat has caused more problems than its solved.
