Hey Musky Rod Builders!
I was wondering if anyone of you have ever cut off the butt section, 28-30”, of a blank and inserted a 7.6-8’ blank and successfully made a telescopic rod. Re: Telescopic Musky Rod’s

I would try this route instead. [voodoorods.com]
I think it would be hard to get sections to match properly for a telescopic rod. Re: Telescopic Musky Rod’s

It can be done but usually requires that you use two identical blanks so that the tapers match. If they don't, you will have difficulty keeping the sections firmly mated when extended.

Rainshadow offers three 9' telescoping musky models. You can check them out here: [batsonenterprises.com]
There's also a monster 9'8", 25-45lb swimbait telescoping model on our discontinued list here: [batsonenterprises.com] Batson dealers can get you a special price if you're interested. Hope this helps. -The Batson TEAM BatsonEnterprises.com Re: Telescopic Musky Rod’s

I’ve looked at this but I’m not sure how it works. It’s best that I give them a call. Thanks for your input Re: Telescopic Musky Rod’s

My first build I used Alp XN guides and wrapped it on Alps power wrapper. Love the guides and wrapper. I’ve read a lot of great reviews of your blank’s. You guys have great customer service and I’ll keep it in mind. I was just seeing if anyone has attempted this on their own.
Thanks for the suggestion. A shout out to both of the crew’s at Get Bit Outdoors and Lure Part’s Online… Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/16/2023 08:32AM by Bart Smith. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
