I'm new to rod building and I find feathers very interesting. Where do you buy nice feathers?

Being new to rod building do you know "RodMaker Magazine"? They have a few articles penned on feathers, the last one is not realy feathers but general inlaying. Joseph, there is a feather section in the photos for examples of what others have done. Start simple, move up when you gain experience. Re: Feathers

Sisiyou Aviary has great feathers, Lure Parts Online has kept me happy over the years. As long as you're don't go to exotic any fly shop that has a fly tying section will have a pretty good variety. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
