Does anyone else remember this cp as being labeled "do not shake" to mix? My current bottle does not have this warning. I hope it's not just me! Lol.

Nope. But I've always shaken it. I thought this type CP had solids in suspension that had to be mixed up to get effectiveness. I just finished a rod with it, shook it, Fuji cobalt thread, and it looks great.

As for Flex Coat CP, mix or shake, just avoid froth. And while we are on the subject, don't let it freeze.

To test our CP brush it out on some clear acetate and let it dry. If it dries clear, its good.

Generally if a bottle of whatever says "do not shake" it has to do with aerating the contents. In these cases stirring is the better case. Shaking can put bubbles in it.
