Fenwick blank information

Hello all,

I recently got my hands an older Fenwick blank. It is brown in color and the sticker says SP 812 F. From what I can figure out - SP is for spinning, 812 is length, 81 inches and a 2 piece and the F is for fast action.

Does anyone have any information on line weight and/or lure weight for this blank? Much appreciated in advance.

Also, does Fenwick provide decals for older blanks? I would assume not, just had to ask. Does anyone know where I can get a decal for this blank?

Thanks for your help,
Mike

If I remember correctly, Fenwick did not supply decals with their blanks, they silk screened their logo and blank info onto the blank itself. SP (rod type) 81 (rod length) 2 (power designation/2=light) F (ferrule = 2 piece).

Norm is correct per the Fenwick catalogs from those years.

Thanks Norm and Tom,
Much appreciated.

I was close with my deductions on the blank number. There isn't silk screening on this one, just a paper sticker that say Fenwick Fiberglass Blank No. SP812F.

Again, Much appreciated.
