By chance would anyone have a diagram of how to wire a sewing machine motor with a dial speed reducer and a foot pedal also what parts to use.Thanks all

John,
Here is an excellent very simple solution.

1. AC motor of your choosing.
2. A foredom foot pedal - A really excellent very long lasting electronic foot pedal.

Plug the AC motor into the foot pedal socket.
Plug the Line cord for the foot pedal into the 120 volt AC wall outlet and you are good to go.

Normally, this is only that one needs to do.

However, if you wish, you can take a simple Triac light bulb dimmer and put that in series with the motor and you will have the extra control that you wish to have.
