Passing of Robert BOB Balcombe

I would like to report the passing of fellow Rod builder and Navy Vet Robert BOB BALCOMBE who used to frequent this site many years ago. He was from the Pacific North West. If you had attended the Seminars at Lamiglas you most probably would have met him or saw a presentation he gave. He was 100% disabled Navy Vet and rod builder. I first Met Bob at the seminar in the 1980s and later his new wife Karen. They both became fixtures there until Mr Dick Posey, the owner of Lamiglas, pass away and the Seminars stopped.

Met Bob and Karen at every Lamiglas get together, a great couple, my wife had some fairly long talks with Karen, Bob's seminar was on how to replace damaged cork in an installed grip, I believe it was the same year Billy V. Dick French, and Al Goldberg visited Lamiglas and had seminars.
