What a crazy Spring!

American Tackle had a crazy spring!

We started off at ICRBE with Austin and Don heading up to North Carolina for an amazing event! It was the best we have ever seen, and the International Rod Building Challenge was in full swing. With seeing old friends and making new ones, we could not have been happier! Thank you to everyone who came out and stopped by to say hi or discuss all the products!

We then headed to California for the Pacific Coast Sport Fishing Show! With a full team of Darrin, Alexander, Funke, and Kevin, an amazing fishing community welcomed us with open arms. We held our first-ever SoCal Rod Builders Reception with some amazing sponsors and over 100-rod builders in attendance! It was such a great time that we decided to go back!

After returning from PCS, we immediately entered the International Rod Building Challenge judging and winner announcement! With over 110 plus blanks sent out from over 26 countries, this was the largest in the history of the event! Gary Allner took the top spot and is the International Rod Building champion.

We then headed back out the door, got on a plane, and returned to California for the Bart Hall Show. This was a return of a show with its roots in California as one of the largest outdoor shows on the west coast. It was amazing to head back and see customers and rod builders we got to know at the PCS show. We were excited to see the number of builders using American Tackle products. It was a great show, and we can’t wait to return.

While some team was out in California, they were back in Oviedo at the Mud Hole Advanced Technique Seminar talking about the G2 grips and the best way to set them up. It was a great event with some amazing speakers.

When we got back, we added another AT Ambassador to our ever-growing team of titans in the industry that is leading the charge in teaching, improving, and paving the way for rod builders worldwide. Stephanie Aderhold of Bait Slinger Custom Rods chose to join us, and we couldn’t be happier! Her marbling technique is amazing, and she will be a great addition to the team!

Now that our crazy spring is over, we are getting prepped for ICAST!! With some amazing new products, ideas, and more, we can’t wait to be able to show everyone what we have been up to!
