Got an email today promoting rod blanks designed for left handed folks . I know I'm new to all this but I can't understand how a blank could be made differently so that it would function better for south paws . If someone could help me understand this , I would appreciate it .
Thanks . Ron Re: Left Handed Rod Blank ??

Well put it this way, Shimano poison adrena rod is 140% more sensitive, it's in all their marketing.
MacDonalds burgers are 100% beef And cigarettes don't cause cancer.... they eventually debunked the bottom two, but they were allowed to market it for a while. As for the top one it means absolutely nothing, it's fluff that sells to the uninformed. Much like a left handed blank, the inventor of the pet rock made millions selling rocks... like regular ground rocks. But do please share who this manufacturer is so we can all have a good laugh. They are cryogenically cooled in a massive refrigerator and then hard boiled to perfection. That’s a pretty good punch line. Re: Left Handed Rod Blank ??

Just checked my emails, I thought it was hilarious - a prefect satire of Shimano and other nonsense marketing schemes. They did a good job with that one haha Building rods in MA, Building the community around the world Re: Left Handed Rod Blank ??

Left handed blanks work just as well as metric crescent wrenches. Re: Left Handed Rod Blank ??

The only difference between right and left handed blanks is the direction the prepeg pattern is rolled onto the mandrel.

What's so funny,
I have a set of left and right hand metric screwdrivers (Philips), the big problem I have is keeping them organized. Re: Left Handed Rod Blank ??

I believe it was, a reel seat that can hold 2 reels at the same time, one casting and one spinning. Mudhole marketing staff really put in a lot of effort for it to, came out with a promotional video and everything. Very well done Re: Left Handed Rod Blank ??

Ronald,
I am left handed, and I always had to order left handed blanks to be completely happy with the blank. My hand simply does not get the best out of a right handed blank. Best wishes Re: Left Handed Rod Blank ??

My fishing trips have never turned out quite as well as I would've liked . Getting a left handed blank is probably the solution I've been searching for . Gonna load the boat from now on :) Ron Re: Left Handed Rod Blank ??

My right hand has a firm grip on the rod and my left hand goes around in circles, its a case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. Re: Left Handed Rod Blank ??

Being ambidextrous, I'm afraid I'm going to have to wait it out for those models to come out. What if I were to buy a lefty and accidentally grab it with my right hand, or vice versa? Oh, the horror! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
