Would love to have gone to this. I will say that, it is a bit frustrating not being able to get any more than a cursory look at the rods in the challenge as well as the peoples choice rods. Kind of noticed that from pervious years as well. Likely this event is a bear to organize and keep on track but it would be nice to be able to get a look at the entrants in more detail somehow. I know I spent a few hours trying to get a look at last years rods but it was really sparse and mostly random shots here and there. Doubly so if you don't have facebook? Having said that I don't know how you would share shots of all the entries. Just have to go next year perhaps....gotta be there to see there haha

Definitely some better views of the rods on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok on the respective builder's pages - the top 10 can't be posted in detail until judging is complete I believe... Tom usually includes some good pics of some of the rods in the magazine as well. But nothing beats being there in person for a up and personal view

Quite a few of these rods are photographed in close-up detail and published in RodMaker during each subsequent issue after the Expo.
