Good point, Tom. We get into a lot of confusion through the use of the wrong terms or not specifying correctly and accurately what we are talking about.

Thanks guys. Put an order in today with Amer. Tac. And Mo was able to help me out really well. Great customer service and got what I was needing. Now just waiting on Fed Ex.

A little reading over past posts goes a long, long way. Even if only in helping to understand terminology. The world is at your fingertips, just gotta look.

Jonathan, I actually built that blank for myself with micros as well, but ran a spiral wrap on it using the MB706-1 HM layout from NFC. I taped up the MB706-1 HM casting layout, and although the 8th position guide wasn't an issue, I didn't like the line touch on the 3-5 guide positions. Instead of doing an 11 guide Loomis MBR844 guide spacing copy, I went with with the spiral wrap (addressed the line touch issue in full, and with only 7 guides total).

Guides were as follows from stripper to tip, all Fuji: KW7 / KW6 / KB5 / KB4.5 / KB4.5 / KB4.5 / KB4.5

I also did this on a MB736-1 HM, and it came out great. Hope this helps. If you haven't done a spiral wrap yet watch the Mudhole video on it, that helped me a ton understanding the guide placement & angles.
