A few years ago I had some inexpensive stamped aluminum realseats that were anodized blue. They were similar or identical to the lakeland seats with the single lock-nuts that you can still find. does anyone know of a source for the blue or other anodized colors? I am not looking for the big heavy-duty saltwater seats. thanks, jeff Re: inexpensive anodized seats

Hi Jeff; the first two that come to mind are Aftco, and Perfection. I'm sure there others too. Pac Bay has a new seat out that is beautiful, I'm not sure what you'd call the color....... gray, pewter, or whatever, but the lock nuts actually work........ I'm sure everone has had experience with them coming loose while fishing. At any rate, neither Aftco or Perfection are inexpensive, but they are worth the money in my opinion. Good luck, Pat Re: inexpensive anodized seats

thanks pat, that is a little larger than what I am looking for, these were sold as fly rod seats, but were to cheap to justify using on a good quality fly blank. The ones I had left, I used for ice rods. People seemed to like the color even though they were metal and will probably be cold to use. Re: inexpensive anodized seats
