So I have used Flex Coat UV for years, but need more pot life. Tried Flex Coat Lite and it's a step in the right direction.
Can anyone comment on how Duragloss LS or Gen 4 compare? Like on one of my other threads - less sharp odor is a plus too. Re: Flex Coat Lite vs. Duragloss LS vs. Gen 4 finish

When I first started building rods I started with Flex Coat. I tried LS Supreme and it was a definite upgrade in terms of clarity and perhaps pot life. I tried Gen 4 and it was a complete game changer. That sounds dramatic, but it’s true. I now have the epoxy that is so easy to use that it helped my confidence enough that I turned my hobby into a small (ok, tiny) business. The workability, bubble release, and clarity are head and shoulders above anything else I’ve used. Re: Flex Coat Lite vs. Duragloss LS vs. Gen 4 finish

I have used almost all of the popular rod wrap epoxies, and have settled upon Gen 4 as my choice. As mentioned above the important properties are very good! Re: Flex Coat Lite vs. Duragloss LS vs. Gen 4 finish
