Hi Everyone.
Looking for some help with sourcing a fore grip. I am looking for a 12-13" triangular finger cut EVA fore grip. I know American Tackle makes one at 16" but I cannot seem to find any production ones of the same style but shorter. Does anyone know of a source for this grip without custom work? Thanks in advance. Cutting one down a few inches wouldn't be a hard job.

But if one doesn't have the tools to allow turning the grip it might not be so easy. Easy peasy if one can spin it. Not so easy if one cannot. Without spinning it it's hard to get a good, clean, even cut. If I'm wrong, I'm willing to learn. Re: 12" Triangular Finger Cut Fore Grip

There are some other ways to do it. Tape can wrapped form a makeshift straightedge and hand sanding is more productive than you might think. Sometimes we get so accustomed to the use of power tools that we forget what can be accomplished with simple hand tools, provided you're willing to spend a little extra time. I have made many custom cork pistol grips with nothing more than a rasp and sandpaper and they came out fantastic. There were not, however, ten minute jobs.

Thanks everyone. The problem that I have is that the order is for 13 matching rods. I have the ability to turn them and can certainly cut them down, however, I was hoping there was an off the shelf solution to save time/effort on this one. If there isn't one readily available, I will trim and contour the 16" ones. Figured I would check the brain trust as I did not find anything with the search functions. As Tom says. It is quite easy to make a tape wrap around the grip to form a straight edge. I use an X-acto razor saw to cut both Eva and cork grips. Just carefully follow the edge of the tape to make a nice clean cut. Then smooth everything up with a piece of sand paper. It’s easy to do and works very well.
