<p>Fly Fishing and Fly Tying Magazine,&nbsp; a leader in British fly fishing magazines,&nbsp;recently reviewed some rods being built in England featuring American made carbon fiber grips. &nbsp;I thought I would share it with the community here with Tom K's permission.&nbsp; Maybe there is hope to convert the purists yet...</p>
<p>A very personal and heartfelt thanks to Tom Kirkman and Andy Dear for their development of this technique and for teaching me how to&nbsp;build my own&nbsp;in the pages of RodMaker Magazine.&nbsp; The cost of my subscription proves every year to be the best money I spend on rodbuilding.&nbsp; And to think...in the beginning a lot of folks said there was not enough material to keep a magazine going.&nbsp;</p>
