Stabilized wood

I was looking at the pictures from rod expo and would like to know who is selling the stabilized wood? Like to try to make some wood grips. Re: Stabilized wood

I've used a lot of stabilized wood in my past builds.
They are not created equal. Some are more stabilized than others. The best imo are from Stabilized Wood Specialists, Intl. Speak to Mike. Herb PS - inferior stabilized wood does not shine as well as Mike's and is not as waterproof. Mike's wood is very hard vs softer inferior wood. That makes Mike's wood harder to work with. But if you want a good finish- look him up. Oh - and stay away from the stuff on @#$%&. Been there done that Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 04/16/2022 02:50PM by Tom Kirkman.
