The winner of ICAST 2020's Best Fishing Accessory, the G2 Tsuka Handle System is the most advanced rod handle. While fishing rod blanks have improved through modern advances in carbon and resin systems, handles have remained relatively static using EVA or cork grips with nylon/plastic seats. This new Tsuka Handle is the pinnacle of component design offering a complete integrated system utilizing the same carbon material used in the best fishing rod blanks to finally offer a handle worthy of the modern blank technology used in premium fishing rods.

What makes a rod handle "advanced"? Is this an advance in appearance, or an advance in performance which can be measured as well as claimed? Re: Why make it hard?

Why don't you get one, test it vs the old reinforced nylon seats, and report your findings? Charge for the answer. A business opportunity not to be missed! Re: Why make it hard?

Phil, at $127, it seems like an advance in price, that's for sure lol.
I feel like the premium boxed packaging will be a game changer. So, we've got that going for us, which is nice. Kevin, in all seriousness, I hope it sells well for you! Re: Why make it hard?

The link explains it but it can't understand it for you. Comprehension is a must sometimes. Re: Why make it hard?

I don't get the luxurious packaging or extra co$t for it. I'm not paying for a box I have no need nor use for. Just sayin'... Re: Why make it hard?

Hmmm, added up there’s over $140 worth of components without the carbon tube or the box…. So maybe coming in a box rather than dumped in a plastic bag lowers the cost? Wait minute, maybe the price is too low and why they’ve sold out every time they come back into stock. Or they are just "advanced” in appearance, performance, and claimed,,,, ad-vanced; i.e. state-of-the-art, new, modern, up to date, the latest, futuristic, forward, ultramodern, progressive, ahead of times, pioneering, groundbreaking, trailblazing, sophisticated, and my favorite, ingenious. But they are indeed cool.
And honestly all fun aside, we did consider the kit price and offered them for less than you could buy all the parts separately but felt that it all shouldn't just be dumped in a bag so we organized it in a box. Respectfully, Darrin Heim American Tackle Company Re: Why make it hard?

I have this kit, it feels nice and all, but I don't have a blank I feel is worth of a $125 seat/grip. I average out to $55 for most of my guides/handle/seat on any given rod. Someday Hydra's FL955 will be back in stock and I'll want to put those on that stick. Maybe some Daiwa AGS guides to round out all that carbon on carbon action. Re: Why make it hard?

Sounds like a fine increase in profits. Thanks for the free advice, but rather than tackle (?!) or handle (?!) this advice I'll sit back and wait for the market to accept or reject this space-age fishing rod handle. Re: Why make it hard?
