I’m intested in finding high quality 1 piece blanks. From the searching I’ve done online, I only see 4 or 2 piece. I’d also be interested in a 2 piece blank with the break in the lower section of the butt. Maybe around the 24” mark.
I appreciate any info pointing me in the right direction. Best regards Re: Does anyone sell 1 piece 9’ Fly rod blanks?

Craig,
These days, non freight shipping typically has about $150-$250 upcharge on shipping for any package that is longer than 8 feet. So, very few rod blanks of nearly any type are available in a shipping length of over 8' 1/4" due to the up charge for shipping oversized packages on non freight orders. But, if you are shipping a huge shipment that goes by freight - one can get product moved and or go with freight on a lcl load freight basis. ---------------------------------- Here are some 2-piece fly rod blanks: [www.anglersworkshop.com] [www.anglersworkshop.com] [www.anglersworkshop.com] Re: Does anyone sell 1 piece 9’ Fly rod blanks?

Both CTS and Rodgeeks offer such blanks that break in the lower 3rd. Otherwise there have been quite a few companies that offer 1-piece nine foot blanks in surf plugging type models.
If you could provide some additional requirements, such as power, casting weight ranges, etc., the board users could possibly further assist you with particular models. .............. Re: Does anyone sell 1 piece 9’ Fly rod blanks?

Thanks for the replies. I have looked at all of those manufacturers and must have missed the blanks mentioned. I will look again.
As for specifics, I’m looking to build myself a set of 1 piece fly rods from 6-11 wt. I currently fish all Hardy Zephyrus and Scott Meridian 4-piece rods in that range. I fish 95% of the time out of my own skiff and rarely ever break down my rods, so I figured if I was building some for myself, I’d like to build them the way I use them. Options are limited in one piece. You might not get the quality you want. I'd suggest opening up the search to include two piece as well. Russ in Hollywood, FL. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
