How and with what kind of paint do you aint a blank. Also is there handles for 8fts that are long ? And do they extend past the pole or is it on the pole itself? Re: Rod painting

I use single stage automotive paint. I went to the paint store and told them I needed a flexible single stage. they had a line of flexible paint. I picked my colors and sprayed three coats. It is tough as nails. Re: Rod painting

I’ve been using Duplicolor automotive lacquer over a sandable primer followed by a two part “2K” spray epoxy clear applied after a week to let the lacquer fully cure - all rattle cans. Re: Rod painting

Paint can decorate and beautify a rod but paint does little to protect a rod and slows the action of a rod. Re: Rod painting

It slows the speed, not the action.
