I have a guy wanting a travel rod. He wants a 3 pc medium with fast action. He is a private plane pilot and wants something to take with him. Spends a lot of time in Alaska. MHX is all I seem to come up with so far in that length. Any other direction you can point me in.
Thanks as always Re: Looking for a 7'6" 3 piece med blank

You might want to add some specifics as to what you mean by "medium."
Perhaps an idea of the species he intends to fish for would be helpful. ............. Re: Looking for a 7'6" 3 piece med blank

If he would accept either a 7' rod, or a short extension on the butt end, that opens up choices in the Batson blank line-up.

You are looking at a 8 - 15 to 17 lb. rod to get that lure rating usually in a blank of that type. There is also a 4 piece, 8 1/2 ft, 8 to 20 lb, lure weight to 1 oz. lure weight blank out there. Re: Looking for a 7'6" 3 piece med blank

I would have no problem with the MHX. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
