I have a guy looking for a 7' MH fast blank for musky. He says 3/4 -2 oz max. Mostly live bait. He has some anger towards st croix, so a blank geeks is out. anyone have something that may be in this realm? I've seen a 7'6" blank from Tackle industries but I have no idea the quality.
Thanks as always for the help. Mark. Re: Suggestions 7' musky blank

Length: 7 ft 3 in Action Angle: XF • 67-degrees (RDA) • 77-degrees (CCS) Power: Hvy / 650gr (RDA) • ERN 28.6 (CCS) Weight: 2.29oz. Butt Dia: 14.48 mm Tip Size: 1.83mm (5.0) Lure Wt: 1 to 2oz Sugg Line Wt: 12-20lb mono 20-30lb braid Point Blank from AnglersResource. 77 degrees CCS is on the hiigh side of fast, but it's not radical. Many blanks described Fast are in the 75-77 degree range. I wrapped a Point Blank around my trolling motor last year and was amazed that all the damage I had was a coupke bent guides, so I'm convinced these blanks are tough. I have never heard anyone say that they didn't like their Point Blank. I have two and have made two for my son, all very nice rods. Re: Suggestions 7' musky blank

For the length and power you describe, almost any Mag Bass blank in a 6 power will do really well. Re: Suggestions 7' musky blank

[www.mudhole.com]. All I use are this series MHX blanks, although I use 8', 8'6", and 9' sizes. They are wonderful for muskies. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
