Bushido Drop Shot Rod Blank good or bad

Has anybody ever used the Bushido Drop Shot Rod Blank DS69/8-15 for river small mouth and how do you like it.

I absolutely love this blank and do not say it biased. I have built this rod for a dropshot/ Ned Rig setup and it worked amazingly. Really great rod for hooking and fighting fish, and handles the smaller baits really well. I highly recommend.

I have no experience with this blank, but my experience with Bushidos is all positive. I think the Bushido line is a real sweet spot balancing very well cost vs performance.

I just finished one for a guy to fish for river smallmouth bass in North Carolina. He absolutely loved it. I’ve built on about every bushido blank and everyone of them have a purpose. This a smallmouth bass blank to the T. I used the CCT apex reel seat and pentalite titanium guides. Rod was total weight of 3.2oz and that was with a smaller decorative wrap and a smallmouth decal.

Have any of you weighed the DS698-15? Mudhole shows 1.74 oz, the ATC site shows 2.08.
