Wanting a spinning rod that is a little versatile. I will be using 10lb braid with fluro leader, Tatula 2500 series reel and alternating between Rico popr, wacky rig and neko rig with 1/16 to 1/8 oz weight. Is this rod a good choice for that, or is the PB701MF a better choice. The latter looks to be on the heavy side as far as lure weights. Thanks as always guys. Keith Langford Re: PB701MLF for Spinning

PB701MLF and PB701MF are top sellers for us based largly on vesatility. They do A LOT of things very well. Based on lure weight, I think your choice is perfect. Re: PB701MLF for Spinning

Keith, good choice. I have the 731MF and it's quickly become my favorite rod for a many techniques. The MLF fits your lure weight choice well, but for your next Point Blank. . . MF Re: PB701MLF for Spinning

How do you feel about your choice 2 yrs later to build on the 701mlf? Mine just got here today and I'm already thinking about getting the 701mhf. Really seems like a great blank. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
