Ok driving myself nuts here. Cannot pull something out of my brain. In another thread was discussing Crystal Coat by Clemens. For whatever reason my mind got to thinking Clemens offered another house brand finish. Driving me crazy that I cannot recall what it was called and if was their finish or just something they repackaged. Of no real importance just one of those things that pops in your head and won't go away for some reason. Thanks. Re: Clemens Rod Finish

I remember using his finishes, was it Crystal Coat? I remember his color preserver Brilliance, smelled like water down Elmer’s glue. I did like his products dried nice and clear. I also have the Clemens lathe, I think it’s the the best rod lathe ever made. I have all the parts that were made for it and I can do just about any thing on it. Re: Clemens Rod Finish

Custom Polybuild. From what I understand it was repackaged Flex Coat.
Brilliance CP. From what I understand was teh same as Flex Coat and U40 CP. Brilliance 2 CP was 100% the same thing as Gudebrod 811S CP. I purchased the last batch of this and I still use it and have about 40 ounces of it left. Re: Clemens Rod Finish

Everything Billy has just said is exactly as I remember the finishing products from Clemens.

I think I remember them having Custom Poly Build too. Plus Crystal Flow as a thinning agent. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
