Hi I've been away for some time,I am back.
Had a guy ask me about making him a telescoping rod (7 to 12ft ) with micro guides. I got all the parts but not the rod blank anyone know who I can get a blank from. What is life without fishing ? Re: Telescoping fishing rod blanks.

Richard,
I hope you get a lot of replies so I can learn as well. I’ve been looking for quite a while to find a 7ft UL telescopic blank to no avail. Can any of you steer Richard and me in the correct direction? Mark Talmo FISHING IS NOT AN ESCAPE FROM LIFE BUT RATHER A DEEPER IMMERSION INTO IT!!! BUILDING YOUR OWN SIMPLY ENHANCES THE EXPERIENCE. Richard,
Thank you for taking an interest in my search for a telescoping UL blank. I would think there would be an even larger market for a telescoping UL rod which could easily be put in a backpack for mountain trout fishing, but all I have seen are probably 15lb rods and up. And I have still only seen rods but no blanks. I am anxious to learn what you discover. Mark Talmo FISHING IS NOT AN ESCAPE FROM LIFE BUT RATHER A DEEPER IMMERSION INTO IT!!! I searched fairly long the other night.. Best i found was a medium, couldnt tell you where it ws either.. Why dont you get a decent telescopic, tear it down and rebuild one? Kmart specials arent the only ones out there.. Diawa amoung others make telescopic rods in the 50-80 price range..
While im on the topic of tearing one down.. You know those pen rods? They fit in your glovebox.. You know the dumb novelty things for lile 15$... I found a site that carries legit pen rods and reels.. Would be cool to have one Re: Telescoping fishing rod blanks.
