Visual wrap software question

I use Madeira thread for my wraps because I like the variety of colors. It is very thin thread, I think about 0.18 mm. Does anyone know if visual wrap software allows one to input what thread you plan to use and adjust the pattern layout? Or does it just assume you are using a certain size thread and if so, what does it assume you are using? If it doesn’t allow for different size thread, does anyone have a method to make adjustments?
Thanks Re: Visual wrap software question

Hi Tom,
The program gives quite a few different size threads to choose from. Pat Re: Visual wrap software question

G’day,
Vizwrap has no options for sizes of threads. It calculates the positions where layout threads need to start. For this reason there is no direct correlation between the number of threads shown on the screen and the number of threads you need to lay on your rod. What the software does is allow you to print the pattern true to size, so you can then measure from the printout the start or end positions of critical features in your wrap. The thread options available are actually colour libraries for different manufacturers. There is also an options setting that allows you to set the thread thickness on the screen, which is a graphics setting depending on your screen resolution to prevent gaps in the displayed image.
