I build 99% freshwater rods so I need some recommendations on some builds. A buddy of mine fishes out of the Jersey shore and he wants some rods built for tuna/shark and a separate set of rods built for trolling for striper. He trolls big tandem rigs and umbrella rigs for the striper. He's putting Penn Squall 60's on the tuna/shark rods and 30's on the striper rods. I've been looking into the MHX Powertip Offshore blanks (72XXH for tuna/shark and 78MH for the trolling rods), am I in the right ballpark?
Thanks in advance, Jeremy Re: Blank recommendations: Saltwater

For the Tuna / Shark we'd recommend our RainShadow FSU56XXH - [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com]
For a strike troll we'd go with the RainShadow RCKJB606-325 - [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com] James Taylor Batson Enterprises BatsonEnterprises.com | RainShadowRodBlanks.com | ALPSForeCast.com | Build2Fish.com Re: Blank recommendations: Saltwater

Hello Jeremy.
The FSU56XXH is a very good blank, Seeker has the Hercules models, Pac Bay has a series called the "PBX II" series, any of these are good. I build & fish a lot of the PBX II because they have a large selection to choose from, from the stubby to 10' in E-Glass. I'm sure there are others that will fit what you are looking for. Good Luck.
